If you are wanting to stay on you are welcome to conduct your own supervised ghost hunt using our equipment. We will be available for questions and help but this will be your time to explore the areas you feel drawn to and see what evidence you can gather.

Step inside Trentham Racecourse after dark for a paranormal investigation at one of Wellington’s most historic sporting venues.
Established in 1906, Trentham Racecourse has witnessed more than a century of racing history. During WWII, parts of the racecourse were used as a military hospital and accommodation for American troops, while nearby Trentham Camp played an important role during WWI.
Ghost Connections is the only paranormal investigation group with access to investigate inside this historic venue, giving you a rare opportunity to explore areas of Trentham Racecourse after hours and investigate its history from an entirely different perspective.

Will I see a ghost?
Do I need paranormal investigation experience?

No. Whether you're completely new to paranormal investigation or you've been doing it for years, you're welcome. Our investigators will explain the equipment and investigation techniques used during the evening.
Do I need to bring equipment?

No. Ghost Connection will provide investigation equipment. You're welcome to bring your own camera, audio recorder or other appropriate investigation equipment if permitted by the venue.
Can I investigate with my friends?

Absolutely. You can attend as a group and participate together, subject to the investigation structure and venue capacity.
Is the location actually haunted?

The location has reports of paranormal activity, which is one of the reasons we're investigating it.We present historical information and reported experiences as accurately as possible and leave the interpretation of unexplained events to you.
What if nothing paranormal happens?

That's part of paranormal investigation. Your ticket is for the investigation experience, including the advertised venue access, activities, equipment and guided investigation. Paranormal activity itself is not a guaranteed component of the experience.

Can the investigation be cancelled?

In exceptional circumstances, an investigation may need to be postponed, relocated or cancelled, including circumstances affecting venue access or participant safety.If a significant change or cancellation affects your purchased service, Ghost Connection will communicate the available options to affected ticket holders in accordance with applicable New Zealand consumer law.
